ENTRY FEES:
Entry fees are based on the item, whether or not the car is entered with a reserve price, and the type of display space. The following fees apply:
Memorabilia $20
Friday (No Reserve) $125
Friday (with Reserve) $150
SELLER COMMISSION:
Upon sale of the vehicle, the seller will pay sales commissions as follows:
Automobiles with reserve - 5%
Automobiles without reserve - 4% (minimum of $100)
Nostalgia items - 10%
Sale entry fee is non-refundable and is not credited towards sales commissions.
CONFIDENTIAL RESERVE PRICES:
If a car is entered in an auction with an agreed reserve price, the auctioneer will not sell the car unless the bidding is at or above the reserve or within range of netting the seller his predetermined reserve. However, the owner may lower or remove the reserve at anytime during the auction, which often results in spirited bidding and a higher final sale price. Cars offered without reserve are sold to the highest bidder, regardless of price. "No reserve" cars are clearly marked prior to and during the sale so the bidder can identify them. A “no reserve” entry will often bring more money because of the greater interest it attracts and faster overall bidding. Many times, certain motor cars are best suited to be sold on a "no reserve" basis however we encourage you to contact one of our qualified auction specialists for further information.
AUCTION NUMBERS:
Each car is assigned an auction number and the cars run across the auction block according to run order. An Mopar Nats representative will be driving your car across the block at your discretion. If you prefer to drive the car yourself, please observe the cars as they cross the auction block and precede to your car approximately 5 cars in advance. If the car has been entered with a reserve, the owner of the vehicle must be present when the car is on the auction block.
TITLES
Vehicles will not cross the block without a title. The title must be submitted upon check-in at the auction office and must be in the name of the consignor, unless you are an automobile dealer. If you are an automobile dealer, it is imperative that you bring the proper dealer reassignments from your state so that we are able assign the title of your vehicle to the new owner. Please be sure that the serial number on your title matches the serial number on the vehicle.
VEHICLE CHECK-IN:
Wednesday & Thursday, August 6-7 from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm at the Mopar Nationals registration tent.
Please bring your ORIGINAL title with you to the auction office to finalize your vehicle check-in procedure. Auction vehicles that have not arrived by 6:00 pm on Thursday (without prior consent) will be considered cancellations. As a courtesy to your prospective buyer, please make sure that there is at least a 1/4 tank of gas in your vehicle. While on-site, fire and safety regulations require that we keep the keys to the auction vehicles, if you wish to retain your keys, please bring an extra set with you. As a reminder, if you are a consignor from a State that allows you to transfer your license plates from one vehicle to another, please do not forget to remove your license plate once your vehicle is sold.
